The purpose of the evaluation is to provide LAs with an electronic format that helps you to monitor, evaluate and improve the provision for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) on a regular basis. The information gathered should represent the LA's view of where it is in its practice and development at any particular point in time. It is meant as a tool to inform strategic planning at LA level as well as for any future plans for training and supporting practitioners.
